The second design from At Mars is the Torque Amplifier. This circuit utilizes an adjustable fixed bias scheme. It has a tube and control configuration that is similar to The Specialist, but is fixed bias and uses different phase inverter. This amp has a stiffer response with more punch. The Torque Amplifier is touch sensitive like The Specialist, but slightly louder and more powerful with a different feel. Dirty/Rude switch and Tight/Loose switch add variation in gain and response. Both switches are stock on the Torque. This amp has the same base price as the The Specialist.
